By clicking on add to the collection, you will be able to create a collection or add them to an existing collection. Our advice to optimize the use of the application is to create a collection of 200-300 hashtags of different sizes:

– 30% from 10k to 100k posts

-30% 100k to 200k posts

-30% from 200k to 500k posts

-10% over 500k posts

To open the hashtag selection widget on mobile, just click the blue circle with a number. To close it and continue to add hashtags, just click on the blue circle again.

Using your collections

After creating your collection and adding hashtags to it, you will have the possibility to go to your account and choose the collection you want and click the button “fetch collection”.

Then you will see the hashtags of the collection, and all you have to do is click  and choose the hashtags you want to use. and click the button “Copy to clipboard”.

Now that you have organized your hashtags, they are available whenever you need them, whether on your computer or mobile. You’ll be able to access your hashtags quickly without having to search for new ones for each one of your posts.

How Hashtags Work

Hashtag Generator

Hashtags are a tool designed to categorize content for both users and the Instagram algorithm. Instagram’s artificial intelligence keeps a record of all the hashtags you use; it will use these tags to determine the type of things you post and show your account to similar audiences.

Hashtags can also help your content to be found by users who are actively searching for it. Often, users find new accounts to follow by going to the hashtags page and consuming content through the hashtag feed.

Most users find new content by looking at the “Top” posts for each hashtag. These “Top” posts are the most successful recent posts (in terms of engagement). In other words, if you want people to see your content, you need to be in the top 9 posts of a hashtag.

Quality posts get the engagement that puts them at the top of the user’s feed. You need a certain amount of relevant engagement for the tag to get to the top. This means that choosing smaller, less competitive hashtags will make it easier for you to rank at the top of that tag and receive engagement.

Similarly, if you use #foodie and your post has nothing to do with food, it simply won’t appear at the top of the hashtags. Instagram’s artificial intelligence “scans” each post before it’s published and tries to identify what the post is about. The algorithm will know if there is no food in your photo and may limit your reach if it thinks your post is about another topic.

To avoid cyberstalking and unwanted content, Instagram has chosen to censor specific hashtags. This list is constantly evolving, so a general rule is to never use tags that may be offensive to anyone. This includes profanity, slurs, names of drugs, etc.

If you use these tags, Instagram may delete your post, your reach may be reduced, or the algorithm will shadowban you in some cases.
